A male Talz from Orto Plutonia, Muftak was abandoned in Mos Eisley, a spaceport located on the planet Tatooine, as a newborn. He grew up knowing he was different from other species, but had no knowledge of the Talz or his homeworld. Muftak became a pickpocket and took up residence in abandoned tunnels beneath Docking Bay 83. To avoid overheating, he frequented Chalmun’s Cantina, where he could also pick a pocket or two. Logray was a male Ewok from the forest moon of Endor who served as the chief shaman of Bright Tree tribe during the Galactic Civil War. At one point during the war, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca and C-3PO were brought to the tribe. Logray, believing Threepio a god ordered Skywalker, Solo, and Chewbacca to be cooked as a sacrifice to their “god”. Saelt-Marae was a Yarkora who worked for Jabba Desilijic Tiure, a powerful Hutt crime lord. Posing as a humble merchant, the Yarkora mingled with the various denizens of Jabba’s fortress on Tatooine, learning of the intrigues developing behind the Hutt’s back and revealing those to his employer. Shortly before the Battle of Endor, Saelt-Marae traveled on board Jabba’s sail barge Khetanna to the Great Pit of Carkoon to witness the execution of two of the Hutt’s prisoners, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. Pote Snitkin was a Skrilling arms dealer who worked for the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure.
At some point, Pote Snitkin became an arms dealer and later obtained a work as pilot for one of the mutliple skiffes of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. During the Galactic Civil War, Pote Snitkin piloted a skiff full of Jabba’s guards through the dunes of the planet Tatooine to the Great Pit of Carkoon, where the Hutt planned on feeding the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker and the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca to a sarlacc in retaliation of the death of his pet rancor Pateesa.Continue reading “Who’s Who in the Star Wars Universe? – Pote Snitkin”
The Klatooinian Barada was enslaved to the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure four years after the Battle of Yavin. He worked as a mechanic in Jabba’s Palace on Tatooine, and was responsible for the gangster’s pool of repulsorlift vehicles, which included his sail barge Khetanna, in addition to serve as muscle. In a recent interview, I managed to speak to actor Gerald Home about his work portraying Tessek and Mon Cal Officer Verrack in Return of the Jedi. Tessek was a Quarren who worked as a bookkeeper for Jabba the Hutt.
Verrack was a Mon Calamari computer technician and specialist who held the rank of captain. Verrack’s expertise in power systems was greatly appreciated as well as needed by the Alliance to Restore the Republic’s fleet. In addition to his technical skills, Verrack also had experience as a gunner. 2-1B was a 2-1B surgical droid that was a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Along with FX-7, 2-1B was stationed at Echo Base on Hoth. One of the most popular Star Wars characters in the franchise is bounty hunter Boba Fett. He has one of the best costumes, he’s an unaltered clone and he captured the notorious Han Solo. Tim Rose was introduced to the Star Wars universe during Return of the Jedi, where he played the Character Admiral Ackbar who he also played in the Force Awakens and will also be featured in the Last Jedi this December. Rose has also puppeteered the characters of Salacious Crumb and Sy Snootles in Episode VI. Tim has been involved with other Lucasfilm productions during his time as a puppeteer and actor in movies such as the Dark Crystal and Howard the Duck.
